Hats Off Day goes to Hollywood June 6th at the Heights

Like many families in North Burnaby, the Hats Off Day Festival in the Burnaby Heights District is an annual tradition that we have carried on for years. Now in it’s 31st year and with a fun Hollywood theme, it will be Lights, Camera, Action! at this family fun extravaganza this Saturday, June 6th. The PNE and Playland are traditions in our family. Having grown up in North Burnaby our family was always at The Fair, enjoying the summer concerts, noshing on delicious fair food (oh hello mini donuts!) or thrill seeking on the original coaster – this year is no different. We’re super stoked about the upcoming Summer Concert Line-up, NEW rides and exhibits for 2015! The 2015 Fair will run from August 22

guildford pool

After  a long wait, the much anticipated pool at Guildford Recreation Centre is now open!  Having a child that loves the water, we have been wanting to check out the new pool which features a leisure pool with a lazy river, spray features and toddler area. We haven’t had a chance to head over to explore the new pool yet, but it is on our list.
