For the past 2 years, nutrition has been an issue for Alivia. Like most parents, I made admirable efforts to provide nutritionally rich foods and snacks, carefully laying out broccoli trees and cutting each food in adorable little shapes in any effort to get her to touch them. Unfortunately, it was a no-go. I have accepted that I have a pretty darn picky eater on my hands.

I worried constantly that she was getting the vitamins she needed to flourish and grow, she struggled with dark circles under her eyes, poor sleep patterns and irritability and after a few trips to her pediatrician it was recommended that we start supplementing her (lackluster) diet.

Cue mom panic. Supplement.. with what? What do I do!? Where do I go!? What am I looking for!? Visit any vitamin section in any supermarket or drug store and you are bombarded with claims of “natural” ingredients, promises of balanced nutrition and no additives but the truth is, finding a balance was a challenge.

When I was approached to try honibe® honey gummies™ I was intrigued, we had struggled through chalky tastes, “hard” gummies and trying to find one that tastes GOOD in the past so I wanted to have a bit of hope with this one. Who doesn’t like honey, right?

Honibe Gummy VitaminsWell, my hopes were well surpassed, when our bottles arrived I was immediately impressed at how juicy they appeared! Shaped like honey combs that could double for snowflakes- which made it incredibly easy to convince my little “Elsa” to try… – they are not only pleasing to the eye but most definitely the palate! We tried ours as soon as they arrived and immediately Alivia asked for another “fruit snack”.

While you may be tempted to eat the entire bottle, keep in mind that these vitamin packed honey gummies™ are a one a day vitamin, versus the 2 a day recommended dosage for the same price of other brands. Cost effective win, you get twice the amount of delicious honibe® honey gummies™!

honibe® honey gummies™ also boast 50% less refined sugar than other vitamin gummies, though don’t worry.. they have their own delicious honey sweetness in three natural flavours – berry, fruit punch and orange! We’ve tried all 3 flavours and really enjoy each one. These packed little vitamins are free of gluten, dairy, artificial colors, flavours and preservatives. Win!

I love that honibe® is not only a Dragon’s Den success story but that they focus on paying it forward, they are proud to support Vitamin Angels. For every bottle of our honibe honey gummies™ purchased at honibe.com they donate 25 cents to Vitamin Angels. This is enough to provide one child with the amount of Vitamin A for a year.

Vitamin Angels helps at-risk populations in need—specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five—gain access to lifesaving and life changing micronutrients.
