Summer vacation is just around the corner. Many of us are already booking family vacations, summer camps for the kids and thinking about other fun ways to keep the dreaded boredom at bay for those two months the children are out of school. I know I am. But even then, there are still empty days during which we are bound to hear “I’m boooooored” from our lamenting littles, often in stereo, maybe even on repeat… over…and over…..
What if I told you that for just $50 a kid (aged 4-13), you could have an entire summer’s worth of activities to attend, all included in the membership price? With an event a day to keep the boredom away, Kidsworld is a surefire cure for the summer boredom blues. That’s right folks! Kidsworld offers a different event every single day, all summer long, happening all throughout the lower mainland. With one free adult for each paid member, what an inexpensive way to have some family adventures this summer. Can you say “staycation”?
We’ve been Kidsworld members for a few years now, and have attended several events that we probably would not have otherwise tried, like visiting the salmon hatchery, taking a narrated Harbour Cruise, and touring Rogers Arena. Having a membership also sparked interest in things like circus camp that we may not have considered or known about otherwise. It is truly a great way to learn and experience more of this beautiful spot we call home and have fun doing it.
There are so many welcome changes to the program this year, making it easier than ever to enjoy your memberships with your kids. Babies and toddlers are now welcome to attend most events, which is huge for those of us with wee ones and no daycare. The calendar of events is available for viewing online before you purchase your membership, making it easy to see how the events fit around other summer plans you may have. And, as a member, you will also receive bonus discounts for events like PlayLand and the PNE and more.
When looking at the calendar, you’ll notice that some of the events are registered events only. Each member (child) gets the opportunity to attend 2 of these reservation only events. This year there are so many cool things to choose from, but spots are limited and some events fill up fast!
If you needed another reason to sign up with Kidsworld now there are two different prize draws for all members that register by May 1:
Two Capilano Suspension Bridge season’s passes and a Canucks Super Fan Pack with an autographed player card!
So what are you waiting for? Your passport to summer fun is here!
And now that summer is covered, if you want to be ultra prepared for boredom-busting throughout the 2016-17 school year, Kidsworld now has you covered there too with their new Kidsworld44 pass. This pass is also $50, but if you bundle the Kidsworld summer pass with the Kidsworld44 for year round fun, you can save $5, and you know we are all about the savings!
