One of my favourite parts of the holidays is going on a hunt for the perfect gift for that someone special in my life. Often times it varies, some family and friends ask for a specific gift and I love to fill requests, other times I am left to my own devices and my imagination goes wild trying to find that perfect gift that is sure to make someone smile on Christmas morning.
Some of the most treasured gifts I have ever received have been custom made, vintage or thrifted. To me, a gift simply comes from the heart and if someone was out shopping and instantly thought of me when they saw something, I am always grateful and honored to receive that gift!
The Olde Farmhouse at Christmas loves thrifting, loves junking and loves helping you find that perfect gift for someone in your life! I am so excited for this event. As someone who is frugal and eager to reduce and reuse, this is the quintessential event for me to tackle my Christmas shopping – all under one roof! Surround yourself with antiques, vintage, collectibles, handmade, jewelry, farmhouse, re-purposed, re-finished, shabby chic…come and find some treasures to help get you and your home ready for the holiday season!
What can you expect at the show? Over 90 vendors showcasing vintage, hand-crafted, lovingly created, wonderful home decor and gift ideas. With a few of my faves on the list I am so excited to wander through with a warm cup of tea and surround myself in vintage beauty!
Event Details:
When: November 14, 9am-4pm & November 15, 10am-4pm
Where: Abbotsford Tradex – 1190 Cornell Street, Abbotsford
Tickets: $5 for one day, or $8 for both days. Children 12 and under – FREE. Tickets available at the door.
Parking: The Tradex has ample event pay parking.
Tips: Bring a cart, or re-usable shopping bags to help carry around your treasures. Some vendors may accept debit/credit but it is recommended that you bring cash, an ATM is available on site but the line can get a bit long!
