It’s no secret that I love shopping, like lovvvve it. However, I’m a pretty frugal shopper so I factor in a few things before making my purchases. I’ve never been much of a fan of online shopping because I felt so limited in where I could purchase from. I really don’t like waiting 2+ weeks for my packages to arrive, to be dinged with additional duty or charges and the hassles that come with online returns. So, I’ve avoided it thus far.

We had a chance to test out their new e-commerce shop this past week and placed an order for some fun Hape toys that I’ve had on my Christmas list for a little someone.
I placed my order from my office at 1:32pm on Tuesday afternoon and chose delivery to my house. Less then 30 minutes later I had an email notification that my order was received, then another when my order was en-route.. and lastly at just after 5:00pm, I received a final email telling me my order had been delivered. I was shocked! My package made it to my house before I was even off work!
So, even if you have all these features like a super easy, user friendly website and check out system, free same day local delivery and top notch customer service you likely wouldn’t use the service if it cost you an arm & a leg right? I felt the same way! I’m frugal, if I am going to buy something online it needs to have additional value (or perk) to me – without costing me more!
I did a little bit of independent research on this one and sourced out the items I bought – I used the first 2 pages of retailers to create an average price range on each item. As you can see from my snazzy image below, there was some serious savings being done by ordering from SpotsHUB!
