Easily one of my favourite events to catch up with good friends, enjoy delicious nibbles, and discover some of the most sought-after gift ideas for everyone on your gift lift.

New this year, is a VIP section in the Grand Court that will leave you feeling relaxed, nourished, and entertained! The VIP section is granted to guests who spend $300 or more (before tax) on the same day by showing their receipts.

The exclusive VIP Lounge includes a complimentary glass of wine, a hot chocolate bar, sweet treats, and light snacks. It also has a private kids’ lounge area, a holiday film screening section, and parcel and coat check-in so shoppers can relax.

The first 500 shoppers to enter the VIP Lounge will be gifted with the Met’s red Holiday tote, which allows unlimited in-and-out access throughout the holidays.

There hasn’t been a single @cirquedusoleil show that I haven’t enjoyed, though I feel like Echo may have just dethroned my favourite. Sharing a visually stunning story of connection, intention, and the bond between humans, the animal kingdom, and the world we share, the audience is taken on an awe-inspiring journey that will leave you gasping, clapping, laughing, and reflecting. All rolled into a 125-minute show.

Running now until January 5, 2025 under the big top in Vancouver, the show combines jaw-dropping acrobatics, belly-laugh-inducing traditional mime comedy, mind-blowing tech, and visually stunning artistry in a show that you won’t be able to stop talking about!

Last night, I had the privilege of attending an exclusive Netflix event in Vancouver for their newest release, Lonely Planet, starring Liam Hemsworth and Laura Dern. The event took place at the Michelin-recommended @moltaqa.moroccan.yaletown, with its warm ambiance, lush decor, and perfectly curated dishes. I may still be dreaming of that sweet orange dessert and cheesecake with saffron sauce.

The film is not just a love story, but a visual and emotional journey about connection, healing, and the power of shared experiences. As we enjoyed Moltaqa’s delicious Moroccan cuisine, we couldn’t stop talking about the film’s stunning cinematography and powerful performances. And bonus? For once, the man isn’t the issue. He is pure and lovely and swoon worthy; but you’ll have to watch to understand why!

If you’re in Vancouver, Moltaqa is a must-visit for anyone who loves immersive, flavorful dining experiences and Lonely Planet should definitely be on your next watch on Netflix. 🇲🇦

I’m a bit of a fried chicken snob, I want flavouuuuuur all the seasoning and juiciness and if you’ve got a poutine I can order alongside I am IN.

Hilariously we originally shot this as an ASMR reel but we couldn’t stop laughing enough to hear the amazing crunches. Call us the ASMR fail team, distracted by fighting over first dibs on the food, hah!

@fighterchickenvan has delish take out or eat in options for everyone in the fam, we tried nearly everything and the giant chicken sammich was my literal •fave• so much so that I’ve considered driving to Richmond just for it a few times! If you pop in, make sure to try all the sauces, I’m not kidding, we ordered all of them and every. single. one. is full of flavour! I bought home the grand daddy of double chicken sandwiches for my hubs and he still talks about the ✨crunch✨ in that first bite.

It took until 1960 for all Canadian women to win the right to vote. This was after decades of our ancestors fighting for that right for us. There’s no excuses anymore, your vote is important. Don’t throw it away. Not sure who to vote for? It’s a lot, I get it, you have time to review their platforms (you can find them online!) and find what aligns best with your views, values and goals for your community.

Advance voting is open now and polls close on October 19. You don’t need your voter card if it hasn’t shown up yet, ID with your address on it is also enough to cast a ballot, so make sure to GET OUT THERE.

You don’t get to complain if you don’t vote, those are the rules. 🗳️
