In case you haven’t noticed an upcoming trend.. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Everything about Christmas. The lights, the trees, the ornaments, the food & treats and of course the chance to spend some much needed time with loved ones.
I’m getting pretty excited for 5th Annual Vancouver Christmas Market, opening on November 22nd, 2014. I went last year on the hunt for a pickle ornament and was not disappointed, I had about 30 to choose from and had a blast enjoying the live music, delicious food, hot chocolate and walking around to see all the vendors. I’m Danish, and both of my amazing co-workers are German, we really loved that the Vancouver Christmas Market offered an authentic German Christmas right in the heart of Vancouver. This year is sure to be on the top of our event list! Looking for a unique Christmas gift for someone on your list? From ornaments, to candles, custom jewelry, toys and more, you’ll easily be able to start crossing people off your list while enjoying the market.

I love that there is plenty to keep littles entertained (which is awesome, since they get in free!) from face painting, scavenger hunts, making their own herrnhuter star ornament, decorating a gingerbread cookie, riding on the carousel and more! For more information, visit the Kids Market.
In celebration of the 5th anniversary, at 5:55 PM on November 22nd, the Christmas tree lights will be turned on for the first time this year, shining brighter than ever before, thanks to all the new Herrnhuter stars. All day, guests at the Market will also receive a complimentary opening day gift (while supplies last).
