Vancouver families and parents-to-be, get ready to deep dive into the world of all things parenting at this year’s The Baby Show! Coming to Vancouver is the most cherished pregnancy, baby, and early parenting event of the year. Being held at Canada Place on October 28th and 29th, this event is more than just an expo; it’s a celebration of family and a way to build connections with other parents, brands and experts.
As a mom I can appreciate the joyful chaos of parenthood, and I can’t help but feel excited about this year’s Baby Show. It’s not just a place to shop for adorable baby gear (although there’s plenty of that!), but also a vibrant space to learn, connect, and create lasting memories with your little ones. This year they have a full schedule so you will have so much to do, to learn, to see and to shop for! Let’s take a look at what they have in store for all the amazing families here in B.C.
Indulge in a World of Fun & Elmo
Upon entering The Baby Show, you’ll find yourself surrounded by over 100 national and local exhibitors including some of our personal favourites including Revol Cares, Healthy Family Living Vancouver (tell them we said hi!), Baby Go Round and many more, each offering a unique treasure trove of products and services for growing families. But it’s not just about shopping – it’s about engaging experiences and meaningful connections.
There is also going to be a super special guest this year just for the little ones, get those cameras ready! Picture your little one’s eyes lighting up as they come face-to-face with the iconic Elmo and Cookie Monster, sponsored by Webber Naturals. These special meet and greets are scheduled throughout the weekend from 11 am to 3 pm, promising delightful moments for your children and adorable pictures to share with friends and family.
Pamper Yourself at the Massage Area (for real.. don’t miss this!)
Being a parent is a rewarding but often exhausting journey. Pregnancy can take many different tolls on woman’s body and the magic of a massage can help melt away that tension and pain. Take a moment to relax at the Massage Area, courtesy of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Prenatal and postnatal massages not only provide relief but also help improve sleep and reduce fluid retention and swelling. It’s a little slice of heaven amidst the hustle and bustle.
We’ll ignore that my child isn’t little anymore nor am I pregnant, if you spot me getting a free massage, no you didn’t. Seriously though, as someone who works full time in paramedical, the power of a good massage can work wonders for everyone of all ages, definitely make sure to take advantage of this incredible pampering opportunity.
